I found the small screws... they were in the bottom of the box (didn't fall out when I pulled out the motor).

Here's pics of the two motors:

another view:

There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the regulator arm (not bent or damaged)... the 12 tooth gears are so small that they don't mesh properly with the teeth on the regulator arm, and after about half a gear turn one of the teeth on the regulator arm lines up directly on top of one of the teeth on the motor and the motor stops. I'd guess that it's just the wrong part rather than a design change.

You are correct!

I cannot express how sorry I am that you have had to deal with this issue.

We will have the correct part in our hands Wednesday.

I can mail you the replacement that same day if I get them early, if not Thursday and you should have them by Saturday.

Can you PM me your order #

We discuss a partial refund if you would prefer to just go buy motors locally

No problem... I don't drive the z very often so missing a week or two is no big deal. I can wait for you to ship the replacement parts, if you give me an address I'll ship back the motors I have.

I've got the receipt from the shipment and it doesn't have any numbers on it... although at the bottom of the page is a web URL with the arg: &orderId=550, could that be it?

Okay I'll send the new motors out as soon as we get them. I'll also include a USPS label to send back the bad ones.

We really appreciate your understanding!
