I got a feeling the flasher might be the issue. I was so focused on it being a wiring issue.

We have had lots of people have issues with their flasher but it generally makes it do really weird stuff. However, a bad flasher can deffinetly cause one side to be flaky.

They are $15.00 and if it does not work you can just return it to Napa so you will only be out some time.

Sorry this has been such a predicament.

When the running lights are on, L1 is lit and when the brakes are applied L1 lights. I'll take another picture. Also, I noticed in Step 4 second picture, both blue wires are going to the connector that links up with the two onange/green wires and then the bladed end is coming out of the connector. I did not do this on the passenger side (and it works), so I didnt do it on the drivers side. Should I do that? In your diagram, it doesn't show the blue wires going to the same spot, they go in two different directions so I followed it.
We have updated the product and not that particular install picture yet. Sorry for the confusion but either way, as you know, it will work the same.

If everything is hooked up the same as the working side, the light in question, L1, does light correctly at times, I would agree with the admins statement that the flasher relay is the culprit and they can really do weird things at times.

Alright, so I'm going to resurrect this thread. I changed the flasher and that solved the weird flashing problem. Unfortunately L1 still doesnt light. I got pissed off and pulled the harness out and put it back to stock. So today I decided to put it back in (soldered the wires instead of using the wire connectors) and L1 still doesn't light. The filaments are there and they light when I turn the lights on or step on the brakes... just not when the blinkers on. Any ideas?

Let me make sure that I am understanding you correctly. The L1 on one particular side wont illuminate while the turn signal is activated?

But it will sequence correctly when the brakes are applied?

If this is true we know that the connections are good into the L1 socket. My question is if there is a voltage signal getting to the module while the turn signal switch is activated.

The easiest thing to do first is to check any and all fuses on the car. Under the hood and in the cab. If you have a voltmeter I would suggest to check for voltage at the connection with the blue wire from the module to the two orange with blue stripes going into the harness. (Step 4 in the install instructions)

This connection should have a pulsing voltage signal with the turn signal lever activated.

I am assuming that you have these tools, I know, but I am trying to help figure out this problem with the best of my abilities without being there.
