93-02 Firebird/Camaro - Front Blinker Kit

Tools Needed

  • Wire Strippers
  • Wire Crimpers
  • 10mm Wrench or Socket with Ratchet (Will be used to secure ground wire and remove access door)
  • Car jack and Jack Stands or a Lift

Install Instructions

  1.  Disconnect your negative battery post and lay it aside.
  2.  Depending on the height of you car i.e. (if it has been lowered) you will need to jack up the car and secure it properly with jack stands.
  3.  Locate access panel for bulb replacement on drivers side. Remove the two ten 10mm bolts from the door.step 3a step 3b
  4.  Locate the side marker bulb connector and the front running light/turn signal connector. These connectors twist left to remove. You will need to pull the wires out from the loom to make your connections.step 4
  5.  Cut the brown wire going to the marker bulb.step 5
  6. Splice the red wire to the end of the brown wire going back into the loom. Splice the black wire to the brown wire going back to the bulb.step 6
  7. Locate the light blue wire going to the running light/turn signal bulb. Splice the green wire with the blue wires.step 7
  8. Route the black ground wire with eyelet attached towards hole in access box on radiator side. Route wire along side radiator up to factory radiator support ground location.step 8
  9. Zip tie blinker module in upright fashion. We recommend taping the connections with electrical tape to help keep water out. Driver side is done. Close access panel door and tighten screws.step 9a step 9b
  10. Locate access panel for bulb replacement on passenger side. Remove the two ten 10mm bolts from the door.step 10a step 10b
  11. Locate the side marker bulb connector and the front running light/turn signal connector. These connectors twist left to remove. You will need to pull the wires out from the loom to make your connections.step 11
  12. Cut the brown wire going to the marker bulb.step 12
  13. Splice the red wire to the end of the brown wire going back into the loom. Splice the black wire to the brown wire going back to the bulb.step 13
  14. Locate the dark blue wire going to the running light/turn signal bulb. Splice the green wire with the blue wires.step 14
  15. Route the black ground wire with eyelet attached towards hole in access box on radiator side. Route wire along side radiator up to factory radiator support ground location.step 15
  16. Zip tie blinker module in upright fashion. We recommend taping the connections with electrical tape to help keep water out. Passenger side is done. Close access panel door and tighten screws.step 16a step 16b
